Dupe Snoop #1: MAC to ELF

DUPE SNOOP #1
MAC eyeshadow in “All that Glitters” vs. Elf Baked Eyeshadow in “Toasted”

Today we are going to be duping (lol is that even a word?) a very popular and loved eyeshadow, MAC’s “All that Glitters” eyeshadow by comparing it to ELF’s baked eyeshadow in “Toasted”.

“All that Glitters” is one of MAC’s most popular eyeshadows and the going rate for it is $15.00.  This product has a beautiful sheen to it that can be used as an all over the eye shadow or one to add a pop of shimmer and gleam. This is because it is considered a “veluxe pearl” shadow at MAC. The color itself is a shimmery neutral beige with hints of copper and gold and is super blendable.  Due to its light, shimmery quality, the eyeshadow itself is not highly pigmented. The shadow is soft and light, making it easy to apply. It is great for beginners because of its neutral tones and effortless application.

Now its time for the comparison! Elf has a few shades in baked eyeshadows, including the color “Toasted.” Now the eyeshadows may not appear the same at first glance, but have extremely similar properties and give the same look once applied! They both have light shimmery pigmentation and have noticeable hints of copper and gold. MAC’s eyeshadow may be a bit more easy to work with because it isn’t a baked shadow. The only major difference here is the price! Elf’s baked shadow is $3! If you are familiar with subtraction that is a $12 difference!! Talk about money in the bank!
